Hi, my name's Troy and I can't wait to meet all of you guys in Flow. =)
Some info about me... I just turned 17 years old recently which means I'm a junior in high school (few more days till I'm a senior!). I live in Southern California by San Diego and I really enjoy it. I played many sports growing up such as basketball, baseball, tennis, and 8 years of soccer. Some of my current hobbies are tennis, ping pong, mkwii, and best of all ROLLER COASTERS (know a lot about them so I guess it's pretty nerdy). Anyways, favorite sports teams are the Lakers and Chargers. I recently purchased a 3DS and cannot wait until they actually get some good games out for it because the system has A LOT of potential. So if you wanna exchange 3DS codes then just PM me.
But more importantly, onto the stuff that you guys care about, MKW. I started competitive mario kart wii back in December 08 technically but was in noob clans and never actually warred. So realistically, I got into competitive Mario Kart Wii in summer 09. I joined infamous union which never warred but i met some pretty cool people there. I stayed there 2 months before it died. Then I went to Shadow Virus which later became known as Legacy where I met most of my good friends in the community and I stayed there for around 9 months. We were a pretty solid clan and we peaked during the WCL season where we went 10-0 in D10. We could have been in like D4 and done fine in my opinion. So anyways, some of the veteran LE merged with old pR members to help its revival. We went with Titan's name, Prophecy so LE was "dead" at this time. This is where I met Adam!! I stayed in Prophecy for around 4 months and it definitely helped me a lot because I got to war against a higher level of competition more often. Things kinda fell apart however especially with some key members going inactive due to 360 (points at Adam
) Okay, moving on to the next paragraph so it looks like less of a wall of text.
Me and Sagar decided that Rv was the clan we wanted to join rather quickly. This was the key point in my MKWii career when I got excepted into Revolution. It was a month long trial which was rather tedious and sometimes it annoyed me getting Skype PM's from people laughing at how long I was on trial for. But that's beside the point. It was the key moment because at the time Revolution was one of the top clans and it got me lots of attention and random noobs telling me I was pro. But yeah, warring with Rv helped me tremendously and definitely helped me get better as an individual and as a teammate. So yeah, Revolution was my favorite clan because the people in it were all very mature and there was hardly any drama for the first 7-8 months. I also met some very cool people like Nas, Dark, Sunny, Sphinx, etc. Unfortunately, the clan kinda divided into 2 different types of players who wanted different things for the clan. Eventually, when Joe wanted to trial, this became a problem and the more serious players (including myself) broke off to make StarStruck. =★ was in great shape for the first month since we were full of skilled players but in May, it got really inactive due to some people having other interests. So yeah, I left because with summer approaching I want to be in an active clan which they understood.
So yeah that was all clan history... here's some info about my racing. My lines are random.. idk I can't judge myself on that aspect of the game. My favorite tracks to play in wars are GV, BC3, DDR, TF, MG, and DKS. As for least favorite tracks, the only non-luck track that I don't like is DKJP. I consider myself a good communicator in wars. I have a good quality mic and always call out things on the track. I also record all my wars with my HD PVR (GOAT quality) so if it's a good war and I do well in it you bet I'll upload it ;D I can stream too in pretty good quality. Anyways, I should be studying for finals right now and instead I wrote this LOL! Thanks for reading!
