Hi Flow, nice to meet you for those I haven't met before, and hello again to those I've played with before

I'm Austin, although I'll always race as Aurora in MKW. I'm 17, Asian like Adam, currently a junior in high school, and live in New Jersey, USA. My main interest for college and a future career is in the field of molecular biology - I will be working in a cancer research lab in New York City this summer in a program designed to combat prostate cancer with a new drug. For sports, I play both ice hockey and lacrosse (I know, weird for an asian), defenseman in hockey and goalie in lacrosse. Having been born and grown up in NJ, I'm naturally a strong fan of the Devils. (I see that avatar Kyle) MKW is really the only video game I play now. I guess I'm usually a pretty quiet person, although it really depends on what I'm doing at the time.

Anyway, onto the mariokart related stuff. I got this game in December 2008, and had actually joined the mkw.com site before getting the game. The first clan I joined was the old Bω (Black & White) led by Colin and Lightshock, in March 2009. I got tired of the game in late April of 2009, and didn't pick the game up again until December 2009. Since then, I've notably joined uC (December 2009) before moving onto Flow on 6/15/2010. I played tons of wars over the summer and really enjoyed my experience here. After the New Year, I had the odd urge to join a "top" clan, so I joined [iS] in early January 2011. It was fun in a different way - incredibly competitive Japanese wars at 1 AM are unforgettable, but in the past week I've decided to return, because, well, I miss this clan. iS could never be as welcoming and as much of a family as Flow is.

And finally, some things about my playing style - in terms of lines, I have decent lines on some courses, my favorites being BC3, BCWii, rBC, Delfino Square, Koopa Cape, and Toad's Factory. As you get to know me, you'll always remember that I despise DK Summit and Waluigi Stadium. I've always been awful at them, and even if I drive well at those courses (which is not often) something always goes wrong. I'm also terrible at Rainbow Road, but luckily that seldom gets chosen. I also have a tendency to call out backspam in advance but then inexplicably run into it, as Adam knows well.

Final notes, I guess. My laptop which I use when playing MKW is awful. Because I'm forced to use the built-in mic, it may be hard to hear me in calls. Also, I have a YT channel, but rarely upload anything because it takes some hours to render 5 mins of video at any reasonable quality. I can also stream, but the quality is incredibly poor. I won't really get mad because of a war or flame people in general over anything. I try to be as relaxed as possible when playing this game.
